Love in the Systemic Perspective
This is a short musing reflection pondering the Buddhist concept of inherent existence with me sprinkling on top some “joining of the dots”…
Human perception is inherently dualistic. This means that we have a preference for atomising things and putting them in neat compartments. The good and the bad, the sweet and the sour, the black and the white.
The human mind is thirsty for order.
A relational perspective is founded on accepting the dependence of objects for their reality. This means that we appreciate that we cannot have the sweet without the sour or the nothing without the things. The tree while still a tree is made up of hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon; but it is only a tree because the grass is grass and the sky is the sky.
All “parts” are accepted as required to manifest each other and embrace the whole.
A relational perspective encapsulates the dualistic nature of our inherent perception, which in turn gives rise to a systemic perspective.
Dualism on the micro scale.
Oneself on the macro scale.
Knowing everything relates to everything and is part of one whole.
–
True love and compassion are founded on a realistic relational perspective where you fully comprehend your relational existence to all sentient beings.
–
You perceive the one self and act accordingly towards others because they are in reality just an extension of you.

Enjoy, for now.
